Those who score 75% or higher earn an AWS Certificate of Completion and Professional Development Hours (PDHs) applicable toward AWS certification and recertification requirements.

Do I need prior metallurgy knowledge to take this course?A basic understanding of steel metallurgy is helpful before enrolling. Completing the AWS Principles of Metallurgy or Metallurgy I courses first is recommended to ensure you have the foundational knowledge of microstructure, heat treatment, and mechanical properties that this course builds upon.
