William Newell, Jr. is involved in welding engineering applications and consulting for nearly 50 years, both domestically and internationally. Graduated from The Ohio State University in Welding Engineering and holds an International Welding Engineer diploma.
A Professional Engineer in Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas plus Alberta, Canada. AWS Life Member & Counselor. Former Chair of AWS D10, Piping and Tubing; Member of D10C, Post Weld Heat Treat, Chair of AWS Conference Committee; Vice Chair AWS Technical Activities Committee; AWS Director at Large (2023) and Member on ISO/TC 44. Member on ASME Section IX – Welding and Brazing Qualifications, Former Chair of ASME SCII/IX Subgroup on Strength of Weldments, and member ASME SCII Working Group on Creep Strength-Enhanced Ferritic Steels.
President of W.F. Newell & Associates, Inc., a firm that specializes in welding codes, application and processes; plus Co-Founder/Vice President – Engineering of Euroweld, Ltd. providing a variety of specialty welding consumables, training and consulting.

Todd Alwood
Director of Membership and Certification, AISC
Todd Alwood is the Director of Membership Certification with AISC and oversees program activities for each department. He promotes AISC Certification to the construction industry and helps educate engineers, architects, and owners to its benefits. Todd has been with the Association for over 20 years, and before joining AISC, Todd was a consulting engineer.

Alina Blanco
Exhibits Specialist, AMPP
Alina Blanco joined AMPP in 2021 as a specialist bringing 11+ years of experience in establishing conferences & coordinating events. Her event management has led to an in-depth understanding of the complexities involved in developing and executing a successful conference.
Alina has planned conferences for other associations including the American Welding Society and enjoys interacting with the members.

Marybeth Miceli, C.Eng.
Executive Director, NDTMA
Marybeth Miceli is the Executive Director of the Nondestructive Testing Management Association (NDTMA). She is also the President and founder of Miceli Infrastructure Consulting, a company she founded in 2010 to help owners and emerging Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Nondestructive Testing (NDT) technology providers work together to solve some of the biggest challenges in civil infrastructure.
Ms. Miceli is additionally the Co-Founder of the We-NDT Marketing Network, a business & marketing consulting firm that specializes in the NDT space and which also publishes NDTnow.com.

Ricky L. Morgan
President, FlawTech America, LLC
Ricky L. Morgan is the President of FlawTech America, LLC.in Concord, North Carolina USA. He has over 35 years of experience in providing NDT Inspections to the Amusement Park, Construction, Infrastructure, Marine, Petro-chemical and Power Industries. Has been a ASNT NDT LIII since 1992 and holds 3 Methods in MT, PT and UT. He was integral to the evaluation of hundreds of Buildings and other assets in the Los Angeles area after the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. Some of his most recent landmark projects include the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, the Las Vegas High Roller, Disney Star Wars “Galaxy’s Edge for both Parks and the New Rams/Charger (SOFI) Stadium. He is a Past President and Chairperson of ASNT. Past Chair of the Greater Los Angeles Section (2000) and currently on the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Section (2022-2023). He is currently serving on the ASNT Board of Directors (Director at Large, Ethics, Advocacy, Leadership & Work force Development Committees, etc.) Section Operations Council, Infrastructure Committee, Ultrasonic Committee - Chair & Coordinator for the 4th edition of the UT Handbook; GPR Committee, Technician Advisory Committee and the SNT-TC-1A Review Committee among others. He has received the ASNT Lou DeValerio Technician of the Year Award in 1998, ASNT Fellow in 2003, ASNT Mentoring Award in 2009 and the ASNT Phillip D. Johnson Honorary Member Award in 2016. He is a 32-year member of the American Welding Society and CWI since 1996. He is also a member of the British Institute for NDT.
